The Counseling Center

The University of Dayton Counseling Center seeks to provide opportunities for students to work towards a more balanced life style. As a result, students are freed to pursue a fuller and richer expression of their educational experience.
Our Staff is committed to assisting and supporting students in the following ways:
- Personal concerns, like homesickness, social adjustment, roommate conflict, anxiety and depression
- Career Counseling
- Limited Psychiatric Services for current clients
- Testing
- Groups that address relationships, eating issues, test anxiety, decision making, meditation, etc.
We also consult with faculty, staff, parents, and others when they have concerns about a student.
Learn The Signs: Mental illness is a very real issue, both on and off campus. Learn the symptoms of stress related mental illness.
