Zimmerman Law Library

The Zimmerman Law Library, a state-of-the-art facility, is located in the heart of Keller Hall, the University of Dayton School of Law building. It provides the law school and undergraduate community — as well as lawyers, judges and the public — with ready access to more than 295,000 volumes of printed legal materials and microfilms, supporting research in Anglo-American, foreign, comparative and international law.

The Law Library is primarily a research facility, and most library materials do not circulate. Numerous electronic resources are accessible in the Law Library, including the library’s catalog and legal databases. The Law Library shares its catalog with Roesch, the undergraduate library. Students have access to wireless Local Area Network capability throughout the Law Library.

Among the most valuable resources of the Zimmerman Law Library is a staff of librarians available to assist you with effective legal research. Consultation with a reference librarian is available year-round.
