Career Services StaffThe Career Services Office at the University of Dayton School of Law is dedicated to offering our students and alumni comprehensive career planning services. We assist law students in articulating, developing and attaining their professional goals. Our objective is to assist in the transition from law student to employed professional. Services and programs are created to facilitate career planning efforts and to maximize potential for employment.

The Career Services Office assists students and alumni with:

  • Identifying career options
  • Aligning career opportunities with individual interests and skill sets
  • Determining a rewarding career path
  • Developing successful job search techniques
  • Securing rewarding summer and permanent employment

Our Services

Services offered by the CSO include one-on-one counseling, informational programs and workshops, resume and cover letter review, mock interviews, library and electronic resources, job listings, interviewing opportunities, electronic job banks, and the Dayton Law alumni network.

In addition to supporting our students and alumni, we strive to meet the needs of local and national employers through our recruiting services. As a member of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP), we promote fair and ethical hiring practices through the Principles and Standards established by NALP and the Nondiscrimination Policy adopted by the University of Dayton School of Law.
