Welcome to Renewable & Clean Energy:

Graduate Program

Chair's Welcome

Welcome to the Renewable and Clean Energy Program.

Fossil-fuel resource constraints, the environmental hazards associated with traditional energy, and the need for reducing CO2 emissions are driving profound changes in the energy economy.

These changes require engineers capable of researching, designing, and installing energy efficient and renewable energy technologies.

Dr. Kelly Kissock

Chair

The Renewable and Clean Energy Master’s Program seeks to develop energy engineers with:

• a sound understanding of energy efficiency, wind, solar, biomass, and geothermal technologies.

• an ability to design, size, and implement energy efficiency and renewable energy projects

• strong energy engineering fundamentals for developing new and innovative systems, tools and technologies

• strong economic analysis, teaming and communication skills

Here, you can learn more about the program, research opportunities, student success and how to apply.
