Welcome to the Political Science Department's homepage. Here you'll find valuable information about the department's undergraduate and graduate programs, faculty and staff, current students, and outstanding alumni.
The Department offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Human Rights Studies and a Master's in Public Administration. We have talented and committed faculty who offer courses in an array of subjects, including American politics, international relations, comparative politics, human rights studies, public administration, and political theory. Our master's students also enjoy instruction from experienced practitioners in the field of public administration.
Our students go on to many of the most prestigious graduate schools in the country and enjoy rewarding careers in the public and private sectors, including law, education and educational administration, journalism, international affairs, federal, state, and local government service, elected public office, non-profit organizations, the military, and a vast number of private sector businesses.
The department is located on the second floor of the architecturally stunning St. Joseph's Hall, one of the oldest buildings on campus.
